Hoyas keep DII Chaminade at a distance in 88-61 win in EA Sports Maul Invitational






A shooting clinic and career day on display for Hoya senior leader Jason Clark (28 pts.). Freshman Otto Porter (17 pts.7 rbs ) had a great game. The Hoyas (3-1) play smart and unselfish basketball (19 assists) 5 assists from senior center Henry Sims. It took a group effort. All Hoyas got the chance to play in the EA Sports Maul Invitational tonight against the Chaminade Silverswords. Wally Coulibaly (18 pts.) lead Chaminade in scoring. Silversword senior Matt Cousins (10 pts.) also scored in double digits. Up next for the Hoyas is Memphis. This game should be a dandy.  Last meeting was December 23, 2010. The #9 Hoyas beat (17) Memphis 81-69 in Memphis. This will be the first out of 2 games both teams will play. this season. Next regular season game against Memphis is December 22, 2011.
