The #2 Villanova Wildcats get snow plowed by the might Hoyas on big snowy day in D.C.103-90

THE BIG PAYBACK HOYAS!

I really enjoyed this game Hoyanation and friends.  It was a game for the books.  The Hoyas 17-5  7-4 BE) put the dogs on the #2 Villanova Wildcats (21-1  9-1 BE) today in a Big East grudge match between the two highly ranked teams.  Jason Clark was 6 of 6 from the field and made all four of his 3-point tries during a 17-point first half and continue to play hard on both ends as he done all season long.  I could tell Jason Clark wanted this game by his play and demeanor, he's a true warrior.   The smooth 3 ball shooting Hoya lead his team in so many ways with his great "team play".  Austin Freeman scored 25 points, Jason Clark had 24, and the Hoyas forced 16 first-half turnovers in a 103-90 victory Saturday that ended Villanova’s 11-game winning streak and ruined the Wildcats’ perfect Big East record.

The Hoyas went 39 for 50 at the free throw line, led by Greg Monroe , who went 11 of 14 and scored 19 points. Villanova scored only 17 points on 23 free throws.  Julian "JuJu" Vaughn and Jerrelle Benimon did a great job at the stripe also.  The Georgetown student section was packed. Those Hoyas fans who trudged through an estimated 2 feet of snow were rewarded with a game they will remember forever.

THANK YOU SO MUCH HOYANATION, WE KNEW YOU COULDN'T LET US DOWN HOYA SAXA!
