FINISH STRONG
BIG UPS TO GREG "WHO DAT" MONROE'S NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST
Hoyanation and friends sitting here during our third snowfall of the season, actually the second Snowmaggedon I ust finished watching the mighty Hoyas (18-5 8-4 BE) in a Big East duel with Providence Friars (13-11 5-7 BE) and come away with the 79-70 win. I enjoyed watching my Hoyas. The game was another true Big East road game for the Hoyas and they prevailed no matter what it took. The game was scrappy, but the Hoyas figured it out with great "team" play once again. The Hoyas redemption dream season is great experience for Hoyanation and friends. Greg Monroe (12 pts. 7 rebs., 12 assists) played a very intelligent game tonight giving out a dozen assists. His play along with the Hoyas was very unselfish. Junior point guard Chris Wright (21 pts.) led the the Hoyas in scoring and showed great leadership throughout the game taking the lead at the 11:58 mark. Julian "JuJu" Vaughn (19 pts. 3 rebs.) and Austin Freeman (17 pts.) also contributed to Hoyas win. Sophomore Jason Clark (6 pts. 5 rebs.) had four fouls and had to sit on the bench in crucial stretches of the game, but once again his teammates have each other's back. The Hoyas continue to play hard as a unit and unselfish. It's the little things the Hoyas do that add up to the big picture and that picture is shaping up into something really special because WE ARE...GEORGETOWN!

“If it turns out it was the easy game, I’ll eat my words,” Davis said Tuesday night after the Hoyas beat Providence 79-70 in the first of four straight games the Friars will play against team ranked in the top seven. “But there’s no reason that team can’t go deep in the NCAA tournament. I hope they do.”
