It's the second time around as Hoyas face the Rutgers University Scarlet Knights on Valentine's Day

SECOND TIME AROUND
LET'S GO HOYAS!
BEAT RUTGERS!

VS.

Hoyanation and friends, this is a quote from a Rutgers player Jonathan Mitchell frpm Tuesday night's game against Division II Caldwell College.

"After an eight-point win over Division 2 Caldwell College Tuesday night, Jonathan Mitchell felt there was no sense smoothing anything over.  So the Rutgers co-captain uttered the honest truth.  “We saw the name ‘Caldwell College’ and that they were Division 2 and we kind of underestimated them a little bit,” Mitchell said. “We took them too lightly and they came out and gave us a game.”

Question, how can you underestimate any team when you have a record of (12-12  2-9 BE)?  15th in the Big East?  Personally, I can't figure this one out.  Score!  70-62 barely Rutgers!

Although the Hoyas (18-5 8-4 BE) are ranked 7th in the land, and 4th in the Big East they will not "underestimate" the underachieving Scarlet Knights.  This will be the second meeting this season between the two Big East teams with the Hoyas winning the first game at home 88-63.  The Hoyas know this is an important Big East road game just as any home or away game in the Big East.  The Hoyas' team play, staying focus and determined will benefit them as it has so far this season and I am very confident this will continue because WE ARE...GEORGETOWN!
