The Hoya Redemption Dream Season continues in the Midwest as Hoyas glide to a 67-50 win againt the DePaul Bluedemons

KEEP ON MOVING!
LET'S GO HOYAS!

Hoyanation, the Hoyas glide to the Midwest and and "keep on moving" in a steady win today against the DePaul Blue Demons 67-50.  Great team play once again played a tremedous role in the win.  Coach Thompson stated, “as a group this is how we have to do things all year.”   Austin Freeman, 17 pts., was the Papajohn's Player of the Game and Top Performer in other publications.

"We just tried to outplay them, outwork them,” Freeman said. “It was just something our whole team was focused on.”  The Hoyas had four other players in double digits.  Any different night any player can step up, tonight it was Austin Freeman with his teammates contributing as a "unit".  The "team play" is"phenomenal." Although the Hoyas were winning by a good margin they never let up steam, they "kept on moving" and will "keep on moving".

Here's a quote from DePaul's Coach Wainwright, “what is most disappointing is the way they scored at the end,” Wainwright said.

This is the Big East. To get a road win is as good as it gets,” said Thompson, who was unhappy with his team’s defense in the first half. “I think we will get better and that’s part of it,” he added.
